Rowntree Montessori’s Summer School program delivers targeted learning opportunities to review and consolidate academic concepts, and prepare for the coming school year. With a focus on individual progress and daily assignments, students enrich their knowledge in a stimulating and supportive environment.

INTRODUCTION TO PHYSICAL SCIENCE: GRADES 5-9
Our Physical Science course, led by Rowntree Montessori faculty memebr Mr. Owen, builds a foundational understanding of matter and the periodic table, fostering a deep understanding of the world around them.
RMS MATH PREP: GRADES 5-6
Led by RMS faculty member Ms. Duckworth, this course prepares students for the IB MYP math program at Rowntree Montessori, cementing core mathematical principles for success in the upcoming academic year.

SCHEDULE:
- Introduction to Physical Science (Grades 5-9): July 3rd – July 7th, 9:30-11:30 am. (No class on July 4th)
- RMS Math Prep (Grades 5-6):
- Session 1: July 3-July 7, 12:30-2:30 pm (No class on July 4th)
- Session 2: July 24-July 28, 12:30-2:30 pm
- Session 3: July 31-August 4, 12:30-2:30 pm
COST:
- Introduction to Physical Science: $135
- RMS Math Prep:
- Session 1: $135
- Session 2 and 3: $165 each
REGISTRATION:
Click the ‘REGISTER NOW’ button above to begin the process. Upon successful registration, Homeroom will dispatch an automatic confirmation to you. This is your registration verification. Please note, RMS does not send separate confirmations.
Please note that Summer @ RMS sessions may be subject to cancellation if less than five students are registered per session.
Here are a few tips for a smooth registration process:
- Register your child based on their grade level for Fall 2023.
- If you can’t locate your school in the dropdown menu, simply select “other”.
- In case a class is full, feel free to add your child to the waitlist. We will promptly inform you if we happen to open additional classes.
- You have the flexibility to make changes or cancellations on Homeroom within 30 days of the class start date.
- If your child is registered for both an AM and PM class within one session, make sure they pack a home lunch.
