Returning Safely to Campus: Reopening Guidelines for the 2020-2021 School Year
We are so excited to welcome our students back to campus and to welcome our new families into the Kehoe-France community when our doors reopen on August 20.
With the continued guidance and support from our regional and global partners at International Schools Partnership, the Kehoe-France administration has been planning the reopening of our school, following the protocols and guidelines provided by the Louisiana Department of Education, Louisiana Department of Health, and the CDC.
Additionally, we successfully ran a fun and safe summer camp, which helped show us what worked well and what will need revising for the school year.
The reopening guidelines overview below serves as an outline for the robust set of stringent health and safety measures put in place to ensure a gentle yet safe reopening, while keeping our children and staff protected at all times.
While it is difficult to predict the ways in which our current health context might change in the future, we remain steadfast in our commitment to the ongoing social, emotional, cultural and academic development of our students. We will continue to make decisions based on our expertise as educators, and we are committed to relying on the strongest available scientific evidence when making decisions about the health and safety of the entire Kehoe-France community.
We look forward to a healthy, happy, and successful year of learning ahead!
